During the Dutch Design Week (October 19th – 27th), STUDIO YDID and 5 other creative entrepreneurs host the event overVIEWover. In the top of the Light Tower, overVIEWover provides both an overview of the six entrepreneurs’ work and a unique view over the city of Eindhoven.
Smack in the heart of town, you’ll find a diverse and lively exhibition of design in all shapes and sizes: from jewellery to furniture and from good food to colour and light experiences.

overVIEWover is a collaboration between Babs Heijnen & Mo Rademakers (KleurInKleur-interior and architecture), Marlou Hoefsloot (Marlou Hoefsloot sieraden – jewellery), Jacky van der Starre (Starlicious Food), Wim Geurts (Geurts Houtatelier – wood shop) and Yvette Dijkhuizen (Studio YDID – graphic design).
Besides these six hosts, several special guests take part in overVIEWover, such as photographer Ruud Balk, author Peggy Smith, colour profiler Allison Standish, city poet Merel Morre and industrial designer and future thinker Marco van Beers.

At DDW, STUDIO YDID shows her outdoor lounge chair. A lounge sofa and chair in one.  This means you can decide how you want to spend your time outside. Whether you want to get a tan or just enjoy a relaxed meal.

Besides the outdoor lounge chair, STUDIO YDID has also designed the overVIEWover identity,  based on the entire collective’s input. From logo design up to the actual print materials.

Location:
The Light Tower’s small tower. Take the entrance through Usine or on the back side of the building, across from the car park “Witte Dame”. Then take the lift to the 6^th floor.

Opening times:
October 19th – 27th from 12.00hrs to 17.30hrs.
Thursday and Friday from 12.00hrs to 21.00hrs.
